Welcome From the East

Brethren! I am proud to serve as Worshipful Master of King Oscar Lodge No. 855 AF & AM for the year of 2023, our 125th year as a Chartered Lodge. I am thankful to the Brethren for this honor- It is not only my year, it is OUR YEAR!

Come join me for this year at King Oscar Lodge. This will be a fun year, as well as educational.
Highlights will include visits to Sketchbook Brewery, a Saints John BBQ in the Jefferson Park Masonic Temple parking lot, fun times at the batting cages and miniature golf course. But I feel the grandest highlight will be the time spent in the Oriental Institute in Chicago, where the artifacts of our operative brethren and their people are housed.

To my officers:

I personally believe I have the best collection of raw talent. Raw talent still needs practice and experience to make the ashlar smoother. When we work together, it will become more enjoyable. This I know from experience. Masonic ritual, when done well, is an absolutely beautiful expression of our Masonic philosophy.
