riday, September 26, at our second meeting of the month at the beginning of the new Fall Season, it was time to confer another 1st Degree to one of our candidates in waiting. Although it was a beautiful summer-like hot day in Chicago, we had our celebratory personalized cake frosted with autumnal colors.
After enjoying a special meal prepared by our very own Bro. George, who once again volunteered his Master Chef’s skills with a special steak dinner for the enjoyment of the attendees, we gathered in the Lodge room for our solemn ceremony.
Congrats to our newly initiated Bro. Richard who has joined the bearers of burdens.
Thank you to all the brethren present who cheered on from the sidelines and to those who took an active role in the ritual.
