Our lodge was chartered in 1898 by the MW Grand Lodge AF & AM of the State of Illinois and given the name of the King of Sweden and Norway Oscar II of that time. Since then, we have always been a place “where true Masonic brotherhood flourishes.”
“Freemasonry is an organized society of men symbolically applying the principles of operative masonry and architecture to the science and art of character building. Its purpose is to improve the community through the improvement and strengthening of the character of the individual man.”
