Podcasts
Listening is one of the most valuable ways to learn and understand varying perspectives on a wide range of topics. Podcasts involve a unique kind of exploration, and those on Freemasonry provide diverse perspectives for using that newly gained knowledge to discover new ways to apply historical lessons and Masonic values to our daily lives.
The best ones fuel curiosity and enrich our minds and offer a forum for reflection, allowing us to find new topics of interest, contemplation, and discussion. Here’s a few to choose from and try out:
- The Short Talk Bulletin (For almost 100 years the Masonic Service Association of North America has published the Bulletins every month, discussing various symbols, lore, and Masonic historical figures and events, being the de facto “public face” of Masonry in North America)
- At Refreshment Masonic Video Podcast (Videocast & Podcast from Illinois, via YouTube, exploring the great and at times humorous world of Freemasonry)
- Whence Came You? (a talk on all things masonic from Illinois hosted by Bro. Robert Johnson)
- Solomon’s Staircase (from Solomon’s Staircase Masonic Lodge in California where members share articles, insights, and Masonic education)
- The Masonic Roundtable (a weekly panel of Masons from around the United States who discuss the latest and greatest in Masonic news, events, scholarship, and happenings)
- The Freemasons Podcast (features members of various lodges in Connecticut discussing a variety of topics including esoteric Masonry, symbolism, and debunked conspiracies told from the eyes of Freemasons- not the uninitiated)
- Historical Light Masonic Podcast (the hosts delve into the rich history of the Craft as well as their own personal stories and reflections touching on a wide variety of interesting topics for those looking to expand their learning)
- Masonic Central (a weekly talk show that delves into the wide world of all things Masonic, from trending movies and books to notable academia and figures)
- Worthy And Well Qualified (discussions on all things Masonic and beyond, with blunt, honest, real conversations – and plenty of laughs, too)
- International Brotherhood of Freemasons Podcast (features conversations with Freemasons from around the world addressing societal issues affecting communities all over the globe)
